Setting up Google apps with your domain on BigRock
To learn setting up Google apps with your domain on BigRock, follow the easy steps that will be detailed below.
STEP 1: Go to the Google apps login page. Click on the “sign in” and there will be a small text field and a dropdown box next to it. Choose “Admin Console” for the dropdown box and input the domain you’d like have associated with the google apps. Click on Go after you are done.
You will be asked to login your account afterwards.
STEP 2: On the newly loaded Google apps dashboard click on the “Domain” found below.
STEP 3: Wait for the page to load and the newly loaded should contain information about the domains associated to the Google Apps account and some of their details. From there look for the “Add a domain or a domain alias” button and click on it.
STEP 4: Once you clicked the “Add a domain or a domain alias” there will be a pop-out before you could proceed in which you select the secondary radio button called “Add another domain” and you input the desired domain from BigRock that you’d like to associate with Google Apps.
Click on the button “Continue and verify domain ownership” afterwards when you are done.
STEP 5: You will be loaded to another page in which you will see a dropdown box saying “Select yyour domain registrar or provider” select and find the “Others” from the dropdown box.
STEP 6: The page should be redirected where you will see the TXT Record from the domain that you’d like to integrate Google apps with.
So copy the value of the TXT record. And the next step will be from your BigRock account. We will be adding the TXT value that you copied from the Google Apps for verification.
Step 7: Open the URL in where you login your BigRock account and input your credentials.
STEP 8: Upon successfully logging in you should be redirected to the BigRock dashboard.
From there click on the domain you desired to add the Google apps with.
STEP 9: You will be redirected to another page, in the newly loaded page scroll down and look for the “DNS Management” section click on the “Manage DNS” that you should find and wait for it to load the page.
STEP 10: You will be redirected to a new page and from there click on the “TXT Records”.
When the new page loads click on the “Add TXT Record” button found below.
STEP 11: Don’t input on the Hostname text field and paste the previously copied value of the TXT Record from STEP 6. Click on “Add Record” when you are done.
The next process would be to add MX value for email purposes.
STEP 12: While you are still on the “Manage DNS” page click on the “MX Records”.
STEP 13: When the new page loads click on the “Add MX Record” button.
STEP 14: You will end up in a page where you could add a MX record from there you will find two radio buttons click on the second one and the appropriate value then fill the “MX Priority” text field with the appropriate value.
The set of values to be used are found below (First value will use 1; the second and third will use 5; the third and last will use 10)

After all the following steps you wait for rougly 4-6 hours and the server side processing should be done then you back to your google apps accounts the find the “verify” and click on it.
That should be able to do it. Setting up Google apps with your domain on BigRock should be done by now.
